Dormant Pruning Wow!

As you may have noticed, the dormant pruning has been completed. Big time!

The primary focus of this process is to trim/reshape many of the shrubs, bushes and small trees located within the Association.

In some instances (okay a lot of instances), pruning resulted in substantial reduction/alteration to the size and shape of deciduous vegetation throughout the property. This is a necessary and vital process in order to maintain the overall health and aesthetics of the landscaping.

It should also be noted that plants that remain green throughout the year (i.e. evergreens, boxwoods, holly, etc.) do not respond as well to extensive dormant pruning. These types of plants will be trimmed as necessary, but not to the extent of the deciduous plants.

Schill Landscaping has assured us that in spite of some of the bushes looking like they were almost completely trimmed back, they will come back more healthy in the spring.
